About the Role
Uber for Business is growing exponentially, and we are looking for a strong Business Development Representative to drive our business forward at this exciting time. You’ll work closely with the other BDRs, Account Executives and the broader Sales Operations team to increase Uber for Business in the UK. Understanding and sourcing new ways for U4B to interact with clients and driving deep partnerships. We need highly motivated self-starters, who thrive on challenges and relish a team environment of natural problem solvers. Our suite of products has multiplied in recent years, so we’re looking for an all rounder who has the drive to sell holistically across an organisation with passion, poise and energy. As an Enterprise Business Development Representative you will be instrumental in customer acquisition for Uber for Business within the EMEA market.
What You\’ll Do
- Be responsible for generating revenue pipeline through outbound prospecting (cold calls/emails), qualify MQLs and inbound leads
- Build territory plans based on geography, industry, size etc
- Identify new business opportunities, prospect the right decision makers within a business.
- Meet or exceed all assigned activity and pipeline creation targets.
- Bring an innovative approach to prospecting and acquisition, with a customer oriented mindset.
- Work with the Account Executives and Sales Managers within your region to develop and iterate on a prioritization model, operational infrastructure, and internal tools and processes.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, video conferencing and in-person meetings.
What You\’ll Need
- 12 – 36 months of B2B sales/business development experience is highly preferred.
- Experience of prospecting into large accounts
- Ability to build and manage email sequences
- A history of consistently exceeding KPIs and activity targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to obtain the necessary information from the prospect, while also ensuring a mutually beneficial conversation.
- Creative thinking about how to set appointments
- To be driven and excited about a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent organization, project management and time management skills, and ability to take initiative.
