About the Role
As the Senior Technical Delivery Manager, you will work with our cross-functional teams and be accountable for orchestrating the delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives while continuously improving our agile practices and delivery frameworks.
As our first TDM, you'll play a key role in defining and shaping the position from the ground up.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery across 8 squads (4 each in the US and UK, ~4 engineers per squad) spanning Apps, Web, Backend, Data, and Innovation
- Develop and maintain delivery plans across the product engineering department, individual squads and specific initiatives
- Track and report on delivery progress, engineering metrics and team performance,
- Identify and manage technical delivery risks and dependencies
- Tailor delivery approaches to team needs while maintaining an acceptable level of consistency
- Continuously iterate and evolve delivery processes to deliver measurable improvements in speed, efficiency, predictability, quality and other metrics
- Serve as the organisation's JIRA power user, building and maintaining roadmaps, initiatives, epics, and milestones
- Configure and optimise JIRA workflows, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility across all levels of the organisation
- Utilise LinearB to track and report on engineering metrics and team performance
- Implement and maintain delivery tools that work effectively across time zones and distributed teams
Process Improvement
- Drive agile maturity across all engineering teams, tailoring approaches to team needs while maintaining consistency
- Facilitate regular retrospectives and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Design and implement standardised reporting mechanisms for executive stakeholders
- Continuously evolve delivery practices to increase efficiency, predictability, and quality
- Establish and maintain delivery governance frameworks
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery across all technical initiatives
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
- Build strong working relationships with Product, Engineering, and Business leadership in both the US and UK
- Provide regular, concise updates to executive leadership on delivery progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
- 5+ years experience managing complex technical initiatives across multiple teams in fast paced businesses
- Expert-level knowledge of JIRA, including Roadmaps and custom workflows
- Experience with metrics-driven delivery management tools
- Experience coordinating teams across multiple time sones
- Deep understanding of agile and experience tailoring multiple different methodologies/approaches
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
- Technical background sufficient to understand engineering challenges and facilitate solutions

- Background in parking technology, mobility or related industries
- Experience with mobile app release management and app store processes
- Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with event management or venue operations

Our Interview Process
First-stage – 30-minute virtual video interview via Google Meet with the People Team to tell you more about JustPark and the role and learn more about your experience
Second-stage – 45-minute virtual video interview via Google Meet with the Hiring Manager
Third-stage – A take home task. We always make sure that the task is relevant for the role and as efficient as possible. Our tasks vary in length based on role & seniority but the task wouldn’t take longer than a max. of 3-4 hours to complete.
Final stage – A 1 hour final interview in our lovely office in Camden with the wider team in the US & UK. It will be a chance to meet some of your team and manager in-person, present your task and cover final interview-type questions.
