We're looking for a Head of Group Fitness to join our growing Team!

The purpose of the Head of Group Fitness at PureGym is to provide strategic and operational leadership for the group exercise function, ensuring it becomes one of the cornerstones of PureGym’s member experience and business growth. This role is responsible for driving innovation, quality, and engagement in group fitness programs, aligning them with the company’s vision to make fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

The Role:

  • Strategic Leadership – Help develop and implement a long-term vision for the group fitness team, aligning with PureGym’s overarching business strategy.
  • Innovate and evolve the group fitness portfolio, ensuring cutting-edge and diverse offerings that cater to all fitness levels and demographics.
  • Identify and drive new revenue opportunities within group fitness, including digital offerings and partnerships.
  • Operational Excellence – Oversee the operational delivery of group fitness programs across all PureGym locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and member satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as attendance, member engagement, and retention rates, using data to refine offerings.
  • Team Leadership – Develop and execute instructor recruitment, training, and development strategies to ensure a pipeline of highly skilled talent across the group.
  • Member Experience & Engagement – Drive member engagement through the creation of vibrant and inclusive group fitness communities. Integrate digital tools and platforms to enhance the in-club and virtual group exercise experience.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with marketing, product development, and technology teams to promote and expand group fitness offerings.
  • Partner with industry leaders, suppliers, and certifying bodies to ensure PureGym remains at the forefront of fitness trends.
