Assistant Project Manager

Due to our clients growing project portfoliO, we are looking for a driven Assistant Construction Project Manager to support our team on-site and contribute to the successful delivery of commercial builds.\\n\\nThe Role:\\nAs an Assistant Construction Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to coordinate and oversee various aspects of the construction process. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in commercial projects who is looking to take the next step in their construction management career.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial construction projects.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monitor site progress, attend meetings, and maintain communication with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Help manage schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support health and safety compliance, conducting regular site inspections and assisting in the implementation of safety procedures.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist with quality control, procurement tracking, and reporting on project performance.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Help resolve day-to-day issues on-site, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication across teams.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience working on commercial construction projects such i.e. Data Centres, Airports, Rail, Hospitals, Prisons etc\\n\\n * \\n\\n A relevant qualification such as a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction Site Management or Construction Contracting Operations Management.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Familiarity with construction documentation, schedules, and project management tools.\\n\\n * \\n\\n CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications are desirable.\\n\\nWhat We Offer:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary and benefits package.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Mentorship and professional development opportunities.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Clear progression path to Project Manager roles.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A supportive and collaborative team environment.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Exposure to a variety of high-profile commercial projects
