Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur
- Install, configure and maintain security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses
- Develop and implement security policies and protocols to safeguard information systems, networks, and data
- Prepare reports documenting security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches
- Coordinate with different departmental heads for ensuring network security and providing effective backup for data protection
