Job Description
Our client, a global broadcast and film distribution company, is seeking temporary cover for an experienced EA to support the Managing Director. The role offers 1 day a week WFH.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Managing Director with travel coordination, diary management, expenses, and liaising with international partners.
- Handling scheduling and logistical coordination with production companies.
- Organising meetings and attendance to major industry festivals.
- Attending festivals and reporting on key panels and sessions.
- Planning offsite meetings and events.
- Drafting agendas and coordinating speakers for global teams.
- Managing script coverage workflow.
- Summarising incoming script material.
- Supporting the visibility of the slate through internal systems.
- Interpreting production budgets.
- Updating the internal talent pool to include UK directors, writers, top show creators, broadcaster preferences, and agents’ assistants.
- Tracking competitive activity, industry trends and headlines in trades.
- Producing weekly competition mapping for senior leadership.
- Producing weekly digest reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a broadcast/film distribution background.
- Experience assisting high-level executives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production or studio environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and time management.
- Attention to detail.
- First-class written and spoken communication skills.
- Flexible approach and a team player.
- French language is desirable.
