Building Surveyor – London Building Pathology Focus | Up to £75k Bonus Benefits A national Building Consultancy is looking to expand its London head office with the appointment of an additional Building Surveyor. They are hiring at either Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level and are prepared to offer a premium salary to attract the right candidate. They are especially keen to find someone with strong client-facing skills and a personable, professional approach—someone who can work closely with clients and act as a trusted liaison between the business and its customers. Candidates at Associate level will also be considered, with a higher salary available. This role has a primary focus on building pathology and fire-related surveys, forming a key part of a specialist team delivering detailed technical investigations across a wide range of residential, commercial, and public sector buildings. This appointment supports the firm\’s ongoing growth in London, fuelled by rising demand for expert advice on building safety and defect diagnosis. The consultancy combines the high standards and resources of a large practice with the responsive, hands-on culture of a smaller firm. They have a strong pipeline of work and a loyal, well-established client base. About the Role The successful candidate will focus on building pathology and condition reporting, along with a range of general building surveying duties, including: Planned maintenance Contract administration Defect analysis Technical due diligence Dilapidations This is a client-facing role that offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to manage your own workload within a supportive and growing team. About You Minimum 3 years\’ experience in Building Surveying Strong technical background, particularly in building pathology.
