Position Summary

The Senior Real Estate Development Lawyer will take the lead on large-scale development projects across Greater Manchester and the North West. They’ll collaborate directly with the practice head, overseeing deal execution from strategic inception to completion, learning from a genuine leader in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on structuring and delivery of residential, commercial, and mixed use development schemes.

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements, JVs and optionagreements etc.

• Provide commercial advice to developers, investors, landowners, financial institutions, and public-sector bodies.

• Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and trainees.

• Contribute to business development—attending seminars, publishing thought-leadership content, and building client relationships.
  The candidate sought will have the following;

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of5 years’ PQE in real estate development work.

• Proven experience on multi-million-pound and complex schemes, ideally including residential, mixed-use regeneration, or institutional projects

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across development and acquisitions.

• Well developed commercial mindset, understand financial and funding structures.

• Confident client-facing presence, adept at handling seniorstakeholders.

• Experience supervising and mentoring junior fee-earners.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a collaborative boutique environment.
