The Asset & Wealth Management division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). The GSAM UK & Ireland Third Party Wealth team is responsible for growing our business in the UK and Ireland, delivering superior client service to new and existing client base. The solutions and products we offer span both traditional as well as alternative strategies delivered as funds, ETFs or SMAs. Clients include but not limited to; private banks, wealth managers, fund of funds and IFAs across UK and Ireland. The Vice president role, will be responsible for driving key strategic partnerships and regional coverage of clients as well as contributing to strategic projects. This includes business development, day to day servicing and facing as a conduit between GSAM and the client(s). YOUR IMPACT

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
- Contribute to a broad platform that serves as the client’s main point of contact for a diverse set of functional areas, including portfolio management, trading, operations, legal, and compliance.
- Provide a superior level of service across all aspects of the client experience, including portfolio reviews, management of client inquiries, ad hoc issue resolution and management of client meetings.
- Strong awareness of client interests and investment trends coupled with the intellectual curiosity to explore and research those areas to best deliver the resources of the firm to our clients.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- University degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience within the financial industry
- Fluency (written and oral proficiency) in English is required
- Project management and organisational skills with a high degree of detail orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
- Motivated professional with strong work ethic
- Strong understanding of investment funds and separately managed accounts
- Thorough understanding of fundamental and quantitative investment strategies including global fixed income & currency, equity, and alternative investments
- Interest in portfolio construction, risk management or accounting principles
