We are seeking a Network President who is passionate about making a difference, cares about helping and developing others, and can lead and inspire a volunteer movement across a geographical area. The role involves delivering Community First Aid, Community Education, and Community Fundraising , as well as developing our offerings for young people. You will lead a team of Volunteer leaders, drive excellence in service delivery, foster an inclusive and diverse volunteering environment, and help navigate change to grow and improve St John Ambulance.
As part of our network leadership team, you will gain a strong sense of satisfaction and pride from supporting your team and volunteers in delivering essential services. Itβs rewarding for you, beneficial for your community, and valuable for our nation.
We will provide a comprehensive induction to volunteering with SJA and the training necessary for your role. Additionally, we offer a supportive environment for our volunteers. Details about volunteer roles are included in the role descriptions, along with our volunteer charter outlining mutual expectations.
Volunteers are expected to attend training sessions both online and in person and participate in regular weekly network meetings to keep their skills current. Once selected, you will undertake role-specific training, the details of which will be discussed post-appointment.
