We are looking for a Draughtsman to join a global client. In this role you will be responsible for producing electrical and mechanical drawings
Role Responsibilities – Draughtsman/Design Engineer
- Develop design concepts from first principles.
An ideal candidate for the Draughtsman/Design Engineer role would have:
- Completed apprenticeship, HND/HNC or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in electrical design is desirable.
- Experience in electrical engineering environment for electrical installations (17th/18th edition)
- Familiar with drawing standards (BS8888 2017)
- Familiar with technical standards for both EMC and LVD
- Knowledge of electrical enclosure manufacturing technique
- Ability to produce high quality drawings (2D and 3D) using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SEE, ETAP
- Production of STEP files for transfer to customers/clients when required.
- Must be able to achieve SC Clearance
