Job Description
Civil Project Manager, North Scotland for SSE ASTI Framework
12 Month contract
Outside IR35
- Fully accountable for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.
- Establishes the overall standards for projects and contracts.
- Ensures project requirements are clearly identified and met.
- Identifies issues promptly and ensures they are resolved efficiently and in a controlled manner.
- Oversees the planning, review, and execution of contract programmes.
- Provides line management for Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and Section Managers.
- Responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, fostering collaboration, and keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed on project and contract progress.
- Ensures risk assessments are developed, implemented, and regularly reviewed as necessary.
- Expected to resolve the majority of operational issues, escalating any critical business matters to the Project Director.
- Manages all commercial aspects of the project, including achieving gross margin targets, cost control, and other key financial metrics.
- Oversees the performance of subcontractors, ensuring alignment with financial and commercial goals.
