Disney’s The Lion King , London, is looking for an enthusiastic Company Manager to join the team for its upcoming cast change.

This role offers an opportunity for a motivated individual to lead the company management department at Disney’s The Lion King on a fixed-term basis. Working with the General Management team, this department will serve as the main point of contact between the Disney office and the show, focusing on Pastoral Care and maintaining production excellence.
Job Title: Company Manager
Position: Fixed Term Contract / 24th February 2025 – July 2026
Location: West End, London
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure the welfare of cast members through regular dressing room walk rounds and department check-ins during the week.
- Coordinate between Technical departments, Resident Creative Team, Production, General Management, and local staff to ensure smooth rehearsals and performances.
- Communicate promptly with Production, General Management, and the Resident Creative Team about daily changes impacting the production.
- Manage payroll information and prepare weekly payroll files.
- Schedule performer holidays with updates for approval by the General Manager and Resident Creative Team.
- Maintain financial records and foster positive employee relations necessary for production operations.
- Arrange tickets for company members and coordinate with the International Creative Team for show visits.
- Lead weekly Head of Department meetings on a rotational basis.
- Work with Disney marketing and press to organize events and backstage tours, attending as needed.
- Collaborate with Stage Management to produce rehearsal schedules and show reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, liaising with Disney’s Health and Safety Manager.
Skills Required:
- Experience in a similar role within large-scale musical productions with an international cast is highly desirable.
