Valuation Director – Commercial Valuation – London – Competitive Package
A leading Property consultancy is looking to recruit a Valuation Director to play a pivotal role in the leadership and growth of their London-based Commercial Valuations team.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership, you’ll take a hands-on approach to business generation, client engagement, and mentoring emerging talent within the team. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially-minded, self-motivated individual who is passionate about valuations, leadership, and long-term growth.
Job Role:
- Lead and deliver high-quality commercial property valuations in line with RICS standards. Build and manage your own client base – with a focus on self-generating new instructions. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and valuation expertise. Support team leadership by mentoring and developing junior colleagues. Work collaboratively across internal departments to cross-sell services and enhance client value. Contribute to the commercial strategy, revenue targets, and future resourcing plans. Maintain high professional and ethical standards in line with regulatory compliance.
Skills Required:
- MRICS qualified with significant experience in commercial valuations. Strong business development acumen with a track record of self-generated revenue. Excellent client-facing skills and a well-developed professional network. Confident, proactive, and collaborative – able to operate at both strategic and operational levels. Experience mentoring or leading junior team members is a strong advantage. Thorough understanding of the London commercial property market.
