What You\’ll Be Doing
- Analyse sales, stock and intake data to forecast demand and raise all purchase orders for a number of suppliers
- Manage outstanding order books to ensure timely and accurate deliveries focusing on improving compliance and OTIF performance
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas of opportunity to improve service and reduce costs
- Monitor and manage stock levels across stores and our distribution centre in line with stock budgets and availability targets
- Communicate known issues and recommend actions to recover to ensure full visibility and transparency for our stores and customers
- Create and manage forecasting, purchasing and allocation plans to support new product launches, promotions and seasonal changes
- Identify slow moving and overstocked lines and recommend action plans to improve stock health
- Support weekly trade meetings with insights and recommendations to improve
- Respond to unexpected supply issues or sales trends with timely actions to protect sales and maximise customer availability
- Collaborate with the Category Management team to develop and improve supply chain performance
- Support with supply chain rebate commercial negotiation and centralisation of product supply
- Maintain system data, policies and parameters to ensure accurate purchase orders are raised
- Collaborate with the distribution centre to ensure the warehouse team are able to manage the resources required to support the goods movements
- Run weekly and monthly KPI reports and Ad hoc information as required to provide senior management with full visibility of supplier performance, customer availability and cash impacts
