Our Corporate Banking division services global Corporate and FI clients with a cross-product offering, comprising integrated cash management, trade finance, business banking, FX, securities services and trust and agency services.
The Bank is building new business platforms and automation services as part of its growth strategy. While these platforms are being developed in the Corporate Bank, they need to be client centric platforms that can also be quickly and efficiently rolled out across other divisions working with similar clients – for example, in our Investment Bank and Private Banking businesses.
You will develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, product owners, and other engineering teams to understand and solve business problems using technology. Together with the team you will design and manage delivery of top-class engineering solutions to satisfy complex and diverse business goals, ensuring alignment to strategic architecture.

Your key responsibilities
- Working closely with senior business leads to understand the business requirements
- Architecting the platform and service architecture to meet these requirements.
- Build, back-test, and model approve quantitative models for example, for pricing, PnL, risk calculations, alerting
- Plan, implement, and test integration with internal Deutsche Bank services for example, for KYC, credit risk, NFR
- Onboard and connect with modern, external capabilities and data services to enable the above
- Build the above natively on GCP, working closely with Cirrus team. Embed Deutsche Bank’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) services in the above from the outset
Your skills and experience
- Holistic understanding of business and technical architecture, with hands on experience of quantitative model development, back testing and implementation
- Thought leadership and practical experience in implementing technology frameworks and solutions (Data mesh, Cloud, AI/ML) in banking and operations like areas in particular
- Expertise in Core Java, including its standard library, industry-standard frameworks, and design patterns along with an understanding of event-driven architecture,
- Solid understanding of the modern SDLC tool stack, including Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, TeamCity, and similar platforms
- Track record in fostering Agile environment, adapting to changes quickly and delivering fast results.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of highly complex and performance/cost efficient distributed systems.
