Job Description

A globally recognised London based design studio is seeking an Architectural Assistant / Architectural Designer to join teams working on confidential, highly anticipated international projects currently at RIBA Stage 3. You will be collaborating with award-winning architects on complex, design-bending schemes defined by challenging spatial parameters, large-scale coordination, and ambitious briefs – projects that are regularly globally published, award-nominated, and career-defining once made public. To be considered you will be proficient in Revit, have experience generating RIBA stage 3 packages in complex projects, and be available within 1-2 weeks.

Job Description

You will be embedded within experienced project teams, supporting the spatial development and coordination of complex architectural schemes as they progress through Stage 3.

You will be:

  • Contributing to spatial design development, testing layouts, adjacencies, and complex geometries.
  • Producing and coordinating RIBA Stage 3 design information, ensuring clarity of intent and technical robustness.
  • Working extensively in Revit, supporting model development, coordination, and drawing output.
  • Collaborating closely with senior architects and consultants to resolve spatial, technical, and coordination challenges.
  • Supporting internal design reviews and responding to evolving project constraints and parameters.
  • Helping translate ambitious design concepts into coordinated, deliverable architectural information.

Key Skills

  • Experience working as an Architectural Assistant on complex architectural projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, with confidence working within large, coordinated models.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting RIBA Stage 3 design and coordination.
  • Strong spatial awareness and ability to think three-dimensionally across complex schemes.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, design-led environments with evolving parameters.
  • Clear communicator, able to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

This role is ideal for an Architectural Assistant / Designer who thrives on complexity, ambition, and design challenge, and who wants exposure to projects that sit at the forefront of global architectural discourse. These contracts offer the chance to work alongside leading designers on schemes that will shape portfolios and reputations long after they are publicly released.
