Property Manager
Location: Islington
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (hybrid role once settling period has been passed)
Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 + Commission
We are currently recruiting for a Property Manager to join our thriving Property Management Department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in property management and thrive working under pressure. We are looking for an energetic individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional service levels and enjoys a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Main Duties:
- Embrace the Chestertons brand and core values
- Protect our clients\’ assets and work in their best interests
- Retain management on the portfolio
- Prioritise and troubleshoot key maintenance issues (floods, boilers, leaks, and appliances)
- Scrutinise quotes on behalf of the client
- Understand how to add value when sending an inspection report
- Negotiate deposit deductions fairly and efficiently within required timeframes
- Understand KPIs required for the role
- Consistently leave notes on RPS and attach documents to the letters folder
- Set and follow up on tasks to manage issues and support colleagues
- Develop understanding of client accounts and statements
- Attend local branch meetings and fulfill inspection requirements
- Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with senior leadership
- Coordinate with supporting departments like lettings, compliance, accounts, and tenancy progression
- Support others\’ growth and development
- Ensure the portfolio is fully compliant (e.g., EICR, Gas Safety Certificate)
- Adhere to department standards
- Inform tenants and landlords about the end of tenancy process
- Guide clients through deposit dilapidations
