Group Content Manager
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Content Manager to join our Group Marketing team and help drive business growth for Incubeta through the use of mixed-media content. Reporting into the Group Director of Marketing, the Content Manager will have one direct report, a Multi-Media Content Executive based in Cape Town, South Africa.
As Content Manager, you will be responsible for the development, and execution of a global content calendar and strategy in line with our brand value proposition and voice. You will recognize and understand our audiences’ business objectives, pain points and frustrations, reflecting this within the content we produce to help nurture leads and support wider business objectives.
Excellent stakeholder management is essential to this role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how they would build and nurture strong internal relationships across the business, ensuring expectation management, engagement, team satisfaction and employee participation.
You will stay up to date with industry trends to ensure Incubeta remains ahead of the curve and front of mind – keeping regular tabs on partners (such as Google and Amazon) and competitor activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy – develop, execute and maintain a robust content strategy in line with Incubeta’s core content threads and brand values.
- Content Calendar – develop, manage and deliver the group multi-media content calendar, liaising with key channel owners to ensure a consistent online presence across key digital channels.
- Content Production – curate and execute key pieces of content including but not limited to blogs, whitepapers/reports, case studies, audio and PR.
- Quality Control – ensure written excellence across all content outputs, proofreading, editing and executing lead-driving assets that align with Incubeta’s tone of voice, and resonate with the wider digital marketing industry.
- Cross-Market Collaboration – collaborate closely with stakeholders across Incubeta’s key markets (US, UK and APAC), aligning content production with region and sale needs.
- Industry Knowledge – maintain a deep understanding of the industry, our target audience and key trends that impact Incubeta and our clients.
- Content Analysis – analyze content performance metrics to optimize engagement, and produce in-depth reports for stakeholder visibility that align with personal, team and company OKRs
- PR – maintain and manage our PR agency, synchronizing marketing and business strategies with PR initiatives, ensuring a seamless brand narrative and messaging.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a content marketing, content creation or digital content based role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding and application of Content SEO best practices
- Excellent prioritization, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (such as Google Analytics 4, Monday.com, Hubspot, Semrush and Wordpress).
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities.
- A robust portfolio showcasing successful content creation and management across digital platforms.
- Prior experience with PR and stakeholder management is preferable.
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g. Gemini) for content creation and optimization is a bonus.
- Managerial experience
Expectations:
- Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office a week.
- Willingness to travel to other offices if the situation requires.
