We are currently seeking a Furnace Technologist reporting directly to the Head of Technology to join our team based in either London or Milton Keynes. About the mission we offer you: You will be joining as a key member of our Technology Group which responsible for the following activities: /n – Managing the activities in the UK Operating Centre for Research & Development projects /n /n /n /n /n – Providing technical support to Sales /n /n /n /n /n – Identifying potential new prospects that the company may exploit and develop /n /n /n /n /n – Providing technical input to the proposals group, for the maintenance of experience lists, brochures and other proposal materials /n /n /n /n /n – The preparation and maintenance of UK Operating Centre procedures and other technology standard documents /n /n /n /n /n – Working with the Technology groups in other offices to ensure consistency of design standards and methodology /n /n /n – Working with other offices to share best working practices and experience /n /n /n /n /n – Provide recommendations and inputs into the production of work orders and R&D projects for the development of technical expertise /n /n /n /n /n – Preparing papers and making presentations for T.EN technologies supported by the UK office /n /n Your responsibilities and involvement will include: /n – Produce furnace designs for grassroots furnace and revamp projects /n /n /n /n /n – Produce studies as required by clients /n /n /n /n /n – Produce furnace guarantees /n /n /n /n /n – Perform and check detailed calculations and issue project documents /n /n /n /n /n – Interface with engineering disciplines and departments as required /n /n /n /n /n – Interface with suppliers for equipment design and supply as required /n /n /n /n /n – Further the development of the furnace technology /n /n /n /n /n – Improve the methods that are used to determine the process design of furnaces /n /n About you: Wed love to hear from you and how you match with this position.
