We are a dedicated team of lawyers, who are all very experienced in all areas of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, property litigation, commercial and residential tenancy disputes, consumer protection and produce liability, tortious claims, volume claims and debt recovery. We are highly regarded by our clients for our professionalism, results, and specialisms.
About the Role
Based at our open plan office in Stockton on Tees, your duties will be challenging and rewarding and will include:
- Acting for claimants and defendants in a variety of commercial disputes.
- Ensuring that clients are fully appraised of the costs and risks applied to their case.
- Promoting the firm and taking an active role in business development activities.
We are open to applications from candidates wanting to work full, part time or more flexible working patterns, so speak to us about your ideal hours!
About You
You must be a qualified Solicitor or hold a Fellowship Grade from the Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) with up to 5 years post qualification experience in Litigation (claimant and defendant).
It is essential that you are a strong team player who can also work independently to drive forward our client base. Excellent organisational and collaboration skills are also a must.
In addition, you should enjoy a challenge and be able to effectively manage multiple cases simultaneously, whilst delegating tasks efficiently.
You should also be flexible to travel occasionally to our office in Newcastle, in line with the needs of the business.
