As a Chef at our residential training facility, youll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative and supportive team to deliver a high-quality experience. Whether youre at the start of your career, or youre an experienced chef looking for better work-life balance, this rare opportunity is the role for you.

In a typical 42-hour week, youll work two 12-hour shifts and three 6-hour shifts per week (with breaks), and a meal is provided on those longer days. Theres also occasional voluntary weekend work, which youll be paid overtime for.

Day-to-day, youll prepare, cook and serve three meals to up to 170 visitors. Youll also have the chance to dabble in fine dining. So, bring your best and boldest ideas and flex your culinary creativity to design new recipes and menus.

Its a customer-facing role, so youll be interacting with the people youre preparing food for. Youll be on hand for our visitors needs, and work as part of a wider team to ensure together that theyre looked after.

Preferably, youll hold a C&G/NVQ or equivalent Level 2 food preparation and cooking qualification. And youll be a team player who is comfortable working with people, can use their initiative and deliver excellent customer service.

Supported from day one, our structured induction course will get you up to speed, and youll be mentored by our Head Chef and Kitchen Manager. And, when it comes to your personal development, were as ambitious as you are: whether its work experience in another kitchen, a course youd love to do, or specific qualifications tell us how you want to develop, and well support you every step of the way.
