Join Close Brothers Controls, Governance and Oversight Team where you will support the management and quality of Product Sales Data (PSD). In this role, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective governance across the bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We\’re looking for a detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst to support the management and quality of Product Sales Data (PSD).

  • Manage data quality controls, reporting, and exception handling for PSD.
  • Design and implement data governance rules and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal data requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs, KRIs/KPIs, and remediation plans.
  • Maintain documentation, including data dictionaries and test scenarios.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • You have the ability to understand, create, and maintain metadata.
  • You can clearly document data requirements for regulatory reporting using Critical Data Elements standards.
  • You have experience defining data controls and validation processes.
  • You\’re familiar with regulatory or bureau data submission processes.
  • You have hands-on experience with data analytics, profiling, and cleansing.
  • You\’ve created Data Quality dashboards and visualisations.
  • You\’re skilled in root cause analysis and remediation planning.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

  • Know your way around SQL or Python
  • Have DAMA certification under your belt
  • Build slick dashboards in Tableau
  • Can configure Informatica tools like a pro
  • Understand data lineage and BCBS 239 principles
  • Have hands-on experience with SSIS or Informatica
