At Tether, we’re pioneering a global financial revolution with innovative blockchain solutions that enable seamless, secure, and instant digital transactions worldwide. Our products include the trusted stablecoin USDT, digital asset tokenization, energy-efficient Bitcoin mining solutions, and advanced data sharing platforms.
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to contribute to our Wallet Development Kit (WDK), an open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. Prior experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative backend solutions using agile methodologies.
- Ensure scalability and responsiveness of backend services to support platform growth.
- Maintain high security standards to protect user assets and data.
- Build or integrate crypto wallets for DeFi and blockchain applications.
- Develop modular, scalable architectures and complex APIs.
- Quickly adapt to new technologies and implement security best practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-availability system concepts.
- Additional programming skills in Go, Rust, or C++.
- Knowledge of message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
