About the role
We are looking to hire an AWS DevOps Engineer (CI/CD) to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. This team focuses on DevSecOps principles, automation, and best practices, with the following objectives:
- Designing and maintaining automated and secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform for automated provisioning and management.
- Embedding integrated quality and security gates within CI/CD pipelines.
- Implementing and automating cybersecurity monitoring and controls.
- Managing package repositories and security solutions with JFrog SaaS Artifactory and GitHub Advanced Security.
- Ensuring team ownership, accountability, and proactive management of Cloud infrastructure.
You will regularly use tools and technologies including AWS CLI, Python & Boto3, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Groovy, JFrog SaaS Artifactory, and GitHub Advanced Security.
This is a full-time role with standard hybrid working arrangements. Candidates should be able to work from our London office one or two days per week for collaborative work.
Key Goals for 2025 Include:
- Transitioning to product-aligned automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Successfully maintaining ISO27001 compliance and further securing our platform.
- Establishing a robust DevOps culture and clearly defined responsibilities.
- Standardising and automating Disaster Recovery across key workloads.
Essential Experience (7 years minimum, prioritised):
- Proven CI/CD pipeline development and management experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform)
- Containerisation and orchestration expertise (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
- Strong hands-on AWS infrastructure experience, including:
- IAM
- ECS
- EC2
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- VPC / VPN
- Route 53
- AWS Organisations
- S3 (Storage Tiers, Lifecycles)
- CloudFront distribution
Beneficial Experience:
- AWS certifications
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions and Security Incident Management
- Cybersecurity awareness or certification
- Data engineering familiarity (EMR, ETL)
- Coaching or mentoring experience
