We’re working with a high-growth, private equity-backed hospitality group based in Manchester that’s scaling rapidly across the UK. Known for its premium customer experience and multi-site model, the business is entering a new phase of expansion—with fresh investment, new site openings, and increasing commercial complexity.

Role Overview:

As Head of FP&A, you will report directly to the CFO and play a pivotal role in shaping the group’s financial strategy. This is a highly visible role, responsible for driving performance insight, supporting strategic planning, and leading all budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the FP&A function, developing robust budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Business partner with the CFO, COO, and other senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision-making across operations, marketing, and site performance.
  • Build and lead a small FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Create board and investor reporting packs with detailed variance analysis and commentary.
  • Drive improvements in data, reporting tools, and modelling to enhance commercial insight.
  • Support investment cases, new site launches, and scenario modelling.
  • Act as a key finance lead in supporting the growth agenda and value creation plan set by the private equity investors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualified, with a strong academic background.
  • Significant FP&A experience, ideally in a hospitality, leisure, retail, or multi-site environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at C-suite and board level.
  • Previous experience in a PE-backed or fast-growth business highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel/modelling skills; experience with BI tools a plus.
  • Hands-on, analytical, and confident operating in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
