A fast-growing, private equity-backed SaaS business is seeking an experienced Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner / FP&A Analyst to support its commercial teams during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This role will provide key financial insight, drive budgeting and forecasting, and partner closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to influence decision-making and optimise business performance.
You will work directly with the FP&A Director and senior leadership to deliver timely, accurate management reporting and support strategic initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting cycles.
- Provide commercial insight and scenario analysis to business units including Sales, Marketing, and Product.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support decision-making and growth planning.
- Support KPIs and performance metrics development aligned with PE investor requirements.
- Work cross-functionally to translate operational drivers into financial impact.
- Assist with investor reporting and board pack preparation.
- Help identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in FP&A workflows.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent commercial finance experience.
- Proven FP&A or business partnering experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth PE-backed environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or ERP systems a plus.
