Job Description
Audit & Accounts Senior – Accountancy Practice
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading Accountancy Group.
The role of Audit & Accounts Senior will be pivotal within the firm and provides a genuine progression opportunity with client contact and the scope to develop your career to the next level, we are therefore looking to recruit someone who has the ambition and potential to develop and progress within the practice.
As Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for:-
- Leading audits from planning through to completion
- Supervising and providing feedback to audit assistants
- Accounts preparation for non-audit limited companies
- Reviewing accounts preparation
- Client contact
- 50% Audit, 50% Accounts Preparation
- Responsible for around 20 audits
- All audits North West based – varied sectors manufacturing, construction, recruitment
- Audit range – a few by request up to largest around 50 million turnover
You may also have the opportunity to work with the cross office Audit group on larger, complex multi-national audit assignments.
Essential requirements:-
- Highly competent, with solid commercial awareness and several years’ experience within UK general practice
- Experience of planning and leading audits within general practice for SME companies
- Extensive experience within accounts preparation
- Extremely motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong team working, motivation and organising skills.
- Applicants should be able to drive with own transport.
Happy to consider candidates that are professionally qualified ACCA/ACA or at the final stages of the qualification and also candidates that are qualified by experience.
