Job Description

My Client, a specialist UK based Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology and Hydrogeology, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to be based in Shrewsbury.

Applicants are required to have a strong MSc and/or BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Management, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and have experience working for UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Designs.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience designing drainage solutions including soakaways and lagoons.

This exciting role will offer you full training and support and the chance to join a specialist UK based Consultancy based in Shrewsbury. This exciting role will involve varied Flood Risk and Drainage for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Housing Developers.

You will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Drainage Strategies, Drainage Design using Microdrainage for pre-planning projects.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in Environmental and Hydrological Projects, site visits and training courses.
