We are recruiting sterilization support managers to provide leadership in the delivery of sterilization services across the trust site, working with the sterilization contracts and performance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading asset and inventory management between Theatres, Sterile Services, and supply/purchase teams of reusable surgical instruments.
- Participating in operational processes independently and supervising staff to ensure quality standards and procedures are met.
- Managing the loan sets/instruments process, minimizing leakage through effective process mapping and audits, and maintaining accurate inventory in the track and trace system.
- Reporting to the Sterilisation Lead and collaborating with site Equipment Managers, Theatre Managers, and Sterile Services Provider – Steris Management.
- Supporting and deputizing for the Sterilisation Lead in operational and strategic management of sterile services, with cross-site responsibilities between Kingston hospital and STERIS in Chessington South.
