Job Description
Venn Group are working with a reputable housing and support provider to recruit the following position:
Position: Residential Support WorkerLocation: BradfordSalary: £24,150 – £28,350 per annumContract: 12-month Fixed Term ContractHours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day support to vulnerable adults within a supported accommodation setting, including individuals affected by drug or alcohol misuse and domestic abuse
- Complete risk assessments and follow person-centred support plans to promote safety and wellbeing
- Signpost residents to relevant local services, agencies, and healthcare providers to help meet their wider support needs
- Address and manage incidents of low-level antisocial behaviour in line with safeguarding and tenancy guidelines
- Plan and deliver basic life skills workshops to support residents with budgeting, routines, self-care, and independence
Essential Criteria:
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 3 years
- Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
- Previous experience supporting vulnerable adults in a residential or supported housing environment
- Confidence in handling ASB cases and delivering structured support or educational sessions
