The Opportunity
We\’re working with a well-established provider of supported living services to find a capable and committed manager for two small, neighbouring schemes based in Ilford. Both services support adults with mental health needs, some of whom may display challenging behaviours.
One service supports 5 male residents
The other supports 5 female residents
Both are regulated by local authority commissioners and are located just across the street from each other.
The role would suit someone with a strong background in mental health support , who has hands-on management experience and ideally has worked with positive behaviour support approaches .
About the Services
Each property has been refurbished to a high standard and offers a homely, supportive environment for residents.

All rooms are single occupancy , with en-suites or designated facilities

Residents share communal spaces like lounges, kitchens, gardens, and activity areas

Properties are fully equipped with fire safety systems and accessible features for those with mobility needs

The male service features a dedicated activity room and a recently modernised interior

The female service offers a more traditional, cosy layout, also across three floors
What We\’re Looking For

Experience managing supported living or residential care (ideally mental health focused)

Knowledge of working with individuals with complex or challenging behaviours

Comfortable supporting and leading staff teams

Experience with positive behaviour support (PBS) or similar training is highly desirable

Strong communication and organisational skills

Someone proactive, confident, and committed to high standards of care and support
