Assistant Private Tax Manager – Complex Private Clients

Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Private Tax Manager to join their established team in Worcester. Key ResponsibilitiesComplex Private Client Support

  • Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of complex private clients including high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs
  • Support senior colleagues in preparing complex private client tax returns and compliance work
  • Contribute to inheritance tax planning projects including trust structures and estate planning
  • Assist with capital gains tax planning for complex asset disposals and reorganizations
  • Support complex income tax matters including non-domiciled clients and international tax issues
  • Help manage complex private client compliance including personal tax returns and trust returns

Technical Development

  • Develop expertise in complex trust and estate planning structures under senior supervision
  • Gain experience in sophisticated tax planning opportunities for complex private client portfolios
  • Learn about complex residency and domicile issues for international private clients
  • Support complex capital gains tax relief applications including business asset disposal relief
  • Assist with complex pension planning and retirement tax strategies

Essential Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification (or part-qualified with strong progression)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of private client tax experience with some exposure to complex matters

  • Some experience with trust and estate planning concepts
  • Understanding of basic international private client tax issues
