Summary of role:
As a result of our growth strategy we are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to become an integral part of our team. You will be joining a friendly team-focused, flexible working environment with the backing and support of the management team. Your contribution will be invaluable to the growth of CKT Holdings. You will be skilful at hunting down and chasing new opportunities across Ireland.
Ideally this role will suit a professional who has experience selling into the Healthcare or Construction sectors, dealing with either healthcare professionals and/or specifiers. Initially the role will be office based with the flexibility to move to hybrid following a successful probationary period.
The successful candidate will:
- Target driven individual with an exceptional track record in working or selling products;
- You will be technically minded, a strong communicator and have excellent interpersonal, presentation and IT skills;
- Be able to integrate quickly into a small team, who has strong self-management skills and be able to work on your own initiative;
- Have a clean driving licence and be prepared to travel regularly to meet with customers/potential customers across Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland.
Essential and desirable criteria:
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of 2 years business development or sales experience in a business to business environment.
- Experience of managing key accounts/customer service
- Comfortable picking up the phone and calling prospective clients
- Team player as well as an ability to work of your own initiative
- Excellent leadership, communication and creative skills – verbal and written
- Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to multitask and structure your day
- Good computer/IT skills with high level of competency in all Microsoft Office and CRM packages
- Access to a car
- Valid clean Driving Licence
Preference may be given to applicants who have:
- Experience in selling to healthcare professionals or to the construction sector is desirable, but not essential.
- Proven success in developing new markets and delivering new business
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Very good written and verbal English language skills
