The Role of the Field Service Engineer – Plant Machinery
- Carry out scheduled inspections and routine maintenance across a fleet of plant equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues onsite during single visit service calls
- Work on both light and heavy machinery including excavators and dump trucks
- Complete all necessary paperwork and service reports accurately
- Operate safely in a variety of environments including work at height and under machinery
- Service customers within approximately a 25-mile radius from your home
The Ideal Person for the Field Service Engineer – Plant Machinery
- NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant Maintenance or similar
- Strong hands-on mechanical engineering background
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with construction or plant machinery
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
