Responsibilities

  • Manage and undertake the design of mining remediation schemes, civil, structural, environmental and / or river engineering works.
  • Lead a team and the design of engineering solutions for environmental interventions, primarily for historic metal mine sites across Wales; role may also include designing solutions for ground instability and subsidence throughout the UK.
  • Contribute to the ongoing chartered professional development and training within the Engineering team.
  • Apply civil engineering skills and experience to resolve the impacts of historic mining.

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering.

Role Details

Role location: Hybrid working (on average 2 days working out of Mansfield office) with an average of one site visit every two to four weeks and overnight stays, generally with flexibility to suit individual circumstances.

Security: Successful candidates must pass basic security checks and will be subject to UK Immigration requirements.
