Your Opportunity: Are you ready to make an impact with New Relic as a Solutions Consultant? This role is perfect for experienced Solutions Consultants and Pre-sales professionals looking to deepen their expertise in observability, as well as technologists from DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering backgrounds who are eager to transition into a more consultative, customer-facing career. You\’ll combine your technical expertise with exceptional customer engagement skills and business insight. Working alongside colleagues across sales, engineering, and beyond, you\’ll help showcase the transformative capabilities of our Intelligent Observability platform. By engaging with our mid-market customers and prospects, you\’ll empower them to optimise their digital experiences and unlock the full potential of New Relic—whether you\’re leveraging your existing consultative experience or applying your operational background to bridge the gap between technical implementation and business value.

What You\’ll Do:

  • Sales Support: Assist in opportunity qualification, technical discovery, and product demonstrations. Participate in Proof of Value/Concept presentations and workshops, RFX responses, and provide input for business justification in a pre-sales capacity.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong, trust-based relationships with mid-market customers and prospects to aid in their evaluation and expansion of New Relic solutions, drawing on your technical credibility to establish rapport with engineering and operations teams.
  • Partner with Sales: Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support technical discussions, identify revenue opportunities through upselling new solutions, and drive broader adoption of New Relic products using your understanding of modern cloud architectures and operational challenges.
  • Technical Insights: Maintain an understanding of the customer\’s business and technical environment to bolster their observability strategies, applying your background in cloud operations to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Product Evangelism: Advocate for new product capabilities, while gathering and relaying customer feedback to product management and engineering teams, leveraging your operational experience to provide meaningful insights on platform adoption and implementation challenges.

This Role Requires:

  • Experience in supporting pre-sales or consulting engagements with mid-market customers, ideally in roles that involve complex technical solutions, OR a strong background in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with aspirations to become more customer-facing and consultative.
  • For experienced Solutions Consultants: technical expertise combined with a focus on sales and customer relationships, with interest in expanding knowledge in observability and modern cloud operations.
  • For technical professionals transitioning into consulting: demonstrated technical competence with motivation to develop customer engagement and business communication skills.
  • Hands-on familiarity with cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, containers, microservices, SRE practices, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of enterprise technology layers, such as modern cloud applications, infrastructure, networks, data, security, and user experience, with practical experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to use insights and data to enable decision-making within complex organisations, ideally with exposure to monitoring, logging, or observability tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills, or demonstrated motivation to develop these capabilities.
  • Fluency in French language

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools, observability platforms, or performance monitoring solutions across infrastructure, applications, web or mobile, networks, user experience, and CX.
  • Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and incident response.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of mobile device platforms & architectures (iOS & Android).
  • A Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent is desirable.
