As their new Engineering & Hygiene Manager on the night shift, you will develop a high-performance hygiene culture and drive engineering excellence.
The Role
As Engineering & Hygiene Manager, you will:
- Oversee all night shift engineering activities, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient plant performance.
- Lead the hygiene strategy, delivering audit-ready standards across high-care, low-risk, and external areas.
- Own validation and verification processes, including ATP testing, allergen controls, and swabbing.
- Act as the senior escalation point for technical, hygiene, and emergency decision-making.
- Drive a culture of safety, ownership, and high performance across multi-skilled, multicultural teams.
- Monitor and improve KPI performance across hygiene and engineering metrics.
- Lead CI initiatives to optimise chemical usage, cleaning techniques, and equipment reliability.
The Candidate
The successful Engineering & Hygiene Manager, will have:
- Leadership experience in hygiene or engineering or both.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
