We’re looking for a full-time Dispensing Optician to join us in delivering the kind of personalised, patient-first care we’re known for. You’ll play an important role in helping people see and feel their best, by offering expert advice, guiding them through frame and lens choices, and making sure every fit is as comfortable and accurate as it is stylish.
This role will require you to work some Saturdays, and it would be ideal if you are based in, or relocating to Wiltshire
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Dispensing a wide range of lenses and frames to meet individual prescriptions and patient needs.
· Handling adjustments, repairs, and collections with care and attention to detail.
· Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
· Delivering exceptional customer service that leaves a lasting impression.
· Leading by example – motivating and developing the team to reach their potential.
· Helping the practice grow by building strong patient relationships and meeting key targets.
What We’re Looking For:
You’ll be either:
· A GOC-registered Dispensing Optician, or
· An experienced Optical Dispenser confident in handling all lens types and prescriptions.
And you’ll also bring:
· A passion for customer care and a warm, professional manner.
· Strong communication skills – clear, approachable, and jargon-free.
· The confidence to build rapport quickly with patients and your team.
· Sales experience and a natural ability to inspire loyalty.
· Leadership qualities with a positive, team-focused attitude.
· Flexibility to adapt to different working patterns and provide cover to other practices when needed.
· A well-presented, professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
