Junior Royalty Data Analyst / Income Tracking – Music Industry

A global music giant have a great new role for a Junior Analyst to join their team, assisting with income tracking and analysis. Created due to rapid expansion this role will work closely with the Royalties Director and IT team to support ongoing management of data infrastructure and reporting.
Offering hybrid (2 days per week in the office) working with ample opportunities for progression this role is joining an established music management team who work at the forefront of the music industry.
With full autonomy and responsibility for analysing, improving and streamlining music data this role is suited to a data professional with a passion for music. Excellent excel skills, specifically Power Pivot are vital.
Responsibilities:
- Managing large Excel data to improve processes and systems
- Databasing, reconciling and presenting data
- Identifying anomalies and trends
- Periodic collation and recording of incoming royalty statements
- Responsible for the calculation of artist management commissions
- Ad-Hoc analysis and queries
The successful candidate:
- Strong Excel skills including Vlookups, Power Pivot, Power BI
- Excellent communication skills
- A keen problem solver!
- A passion for all things music and data!!
- Royalties experience will be highly beneficial but not essential
- Experience handling vast volumes of data
