Description
The Online Trading Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Brand.co.uk website, ensuring smooth execution of online sales, content management, product launches, and promotional activities. This role involves working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience and driving sales through seamless site operations and marketing activities.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:
Sales & Reporting

  • Produce regular reports on online sales and product performance for the Brand.co.uk site.
  • Contribute to post-campaign analysis for key launches, trading periods, and site performance.
  • Support the Online Brand Manager in managing the online gift with purchase and sampling programmes, analysing key performance indicators and offering insights for future opportunities.

Website Management

  • Collaborate with the Online Brand Manager to define and implement site updates based on the UK marketing calendar, seasonal priorities, and trade plans.
  • Oversee CMS work, ensuring all products are set up correctly, promotions are properly implemented, and codes are tested and working.
  • Support in the development of new site functionalities, performing rigorous quality assurance (QA) and site testing.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, ensuring all updates align with the overall brand strategy and site goals.
  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure proper tagging and reporting of all areas on the site, using analytics to measure success and guide future marketing initiatives.

Marketing Channel & Content Management

  • Manage the content calendar for the website, supporting the implementation of promotional activities and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all channels.
  • Work closely with the CRM team to optimize the customer database and create targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the daily maintenance of the affiliate programme, including coordinating with publishers on launches, offers, and content creation.
  • Support the Online Brand Manager with SEO and PPC strategies, ensuring customer journeys are intuitive and efficient.

Stock Management

  • Support the allocation of stock for new product launches and limited-life products, collaborating with the wider team to ensure availability.
  • Manage the sample stock database, ensuring accurate allocations and tracking across the team.
  • Work closely with the wider Online team to ensure alignment on stock deliveries and marketing schedules, executing campaigns and launches efficiently.

PROJECTS / WORK YOU WILL BE PART OF:

  • Brand Launches: Assist in the execution of new product launches on Brand.co.uk, ensuring seamless coordination across teams, accurate product information, and timely stock availability.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Support the development and execution of promotional activities, including seasonal events such as Christmas, to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Content Optimization: Work on the continuous improvement of site content, identifying opportunities to enhance user experience and support brand strategy.
  • Affiliate Marketing Expansion: Contribute to expanding the affiliate marketing programme, identifying new opportunities for partnerships and collaborating with publishers to create engaging content.
  • Performance Analytics: Help track and analyse site and campaign performance, using insights to drive improvements and inform future marketing strategies.
  • Customer Experience Improvement: Work on initiatives to optimize the online customer journey, ensuring all elements of the site are aligned with brand standards and customer expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Strong commercial awareness, with an ability to analyse online sales data and identify actionable insights.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CMS platforms and Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, PPC, and affiliate marketing strategies.
  • A proactive attitude, with a passion for delivering high-quality online customer experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online sales support, ideally within a retail environment.
  • Familiarity with web analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Power BI).
  • Experience with CMS systems and basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
