We are working with an established Accountancy Practice on the outskirts of East Oxford seeking a Full or Part-Time Payroll Officer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional seeking flexible part-time hours with genuine work-life balance.
The Role
As Payroll Officer , you will support the processing of payrolls for a diverse portfolio of SME clients, working anywhere from 25 hours per week or upwards with options for more or fewer hours depending on your preferences. This position offers exceptional flexibility with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls for various SME clients
- Handle starters, leavers, and payroll amendments
- Process salary changes and employee data updates
- Assist with statutory requirements including SSP, SMP, SPP, PAYE & NI
What You Need
- Minimum 3 years\’ payroll experience
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Experience with payroll software (Paycircle/Iris knowledge preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
