Role: Treasury & Liquidity Consultant
Domain: Banking
Day rate: £525-550/d (inside IR35)
Location: London (hybrid – 3 days per week)
Contract: 6 months (strong extension scope)
A leading global financial institution is seeking a Senior Treasury & Liquidity Consultant for a 6-month contract engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, regulatory-driven project within a complex and fast-paced banking environment.
Responsibilities of the Treasury & Liquidity Consultant:
- Produce and refine regulatory artefacts such as ILAAPs, GLMM documentation, and board-level reports.
- Work cross-functionally with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure robust governance and regulatory compliance.
- Support internal challenge and review processes around liquidity risk frameworks and risk appetite.
- Craft clear, concise, and board-ready communications on complex regulatory matters.
Requirements for the Treasury & Liquidity Consultant
- Strong experience in liquidity risk and treasury regulation, ideally within top-tier UK or global banks.
- Hands-on expertise in drafting ILAAPs and GLMM documentation.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce impactful presentations and papers for senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ICA, or other risk/finance-related qualifications (preferred but not essential).
- Strong familiarity with UK and European regulatory frameworks (PRA, EBA, CRR, etc.).
