Please note: We do require someone to be onsite in our Liverpool studio for 4 days per week, with flexibility.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategy & Leadership: Work with QA to develop and deliver an interdependent testing strategy (per project), leveraging automation effectively to achieve quality, cost and time goals
- Engagement: Engage with studios, stakeholders in-line with engagement strategy commitments
- Test Automation: Work with test engineers and stakeholders to design and implement automated tests that improve speed & accuracy of testing
- QA: Collaborate with QA to optimise title testing budgets and raise testing value across studio groups
- Centralised Reporting: Develop visualisations for real-time test results, automation health, and strategic insights
- Insight: Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve testing efficiency and quality.
- Development & Growth: Lead a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of quality and CI throughout QA
- Service Budgeting: Appropriate budgeting for title projections, as well as non-project budgeting such as travel, hardware and training.
- Infrastructure Planning: Developing long-term plans for infrastructure to support the delivery of agreed services
- Project Optimisation: Utilise appropriate metrics to recommend improvements or changes to active services.
What we are looking for:
- QA leadership experience at a lead or management level (minimum of 2 years)
- Experience shaping testing strategies, analysing test results and providing actionable insight
- Experience identifying, designing and implementing automated tests
Desirable Skills:
- ISTQB qualified
- Familiarity with automation frameworks
- Familiarity with C#, JAVA, C++
- Have working within the gaming industry previously
