Job Description

Paraplanner

HW Global are working with a financial services firm that’s on the lookout for an experienced Paraplanner to support their advisers and admin team. If you’re detail-driven, love digging into the numbers, and want to be part of a business that delivers thoughtful, high-quality advice to clients, this might be for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing clear, thorough investment reports for new and existing clients.
  • Putting together pre-investment packs to support financial consultants’ recommendations.
  • Researching markets, products, and trends so clients are always getting up-to-date, competitive advice.
  • Working closely with administrators to provide technical support when needed.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with investment and insurance providers.
  • Making sure everything you do aligns with FCA Conduct Rules and internal policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Diploma-qualified (or working towards Level 4 in Financial Planning).
  • Confident with complex financial planning – including vulnerable client situations.
  • A solid understanding of investment products, pensions, and protection solutions.
  • Comfortable balancing technical detail with client-friendly communication.

This is a full-time role on a contract basis, fully remote, with offices across the UK, and you’ll be reporting to a Paraplanning Manager who genuinely values your input.
