As a DDaT Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing a national community of practice. You will focus on specific activities or areas within the community, ensuring that efforts align with national standards and priorities while avoiding duplication.
As a DDaT Advocate, you will:
- Support the Digital Advocacy Officer in coordinating the community.
- Focus on specific activities or areas within the community of practice.
- Assist in delivering impactful initiatives and projects.
- Foster collaboration and strengthen professional engagement.
- Champion inclusivity and provide support to community members.
- Contribute to the overall success and development of the community.
Volunteers in this role will be expected to: Attend an initial training and induction session (typically online, 1–2 hours) Provide occasional one-to-one or group support to peers in their aligned team, geography, or product area Join regular (usually monthly or bi-monthly) check-ins with their Digital Advocacy Officer for updates, shared learning, and coordination Stay informed about relevant digital tools, updates, and guidance to support effective local delivery Log their activities and feedback to support wider evaluation and impact reporting This role offers a flexible and meaningful way to contribute to St John’s digital progress while developing valuable skills in digital engagement, peer support, and leadership.
