Trainee Offshore Fuelling Systems Engineer

OEG is hiring a Trainee Offshore Fuelling Systems Engineer in Cairnrobin, Aberdeen. The role involves carrying out offshore heli fuel system inspections, repairs, maintenance, and testing.

Company: OEG

Contract: 4-6 months training program (working Monday-Friday). Upon completion, transition to an offshore-only contract with a salary-based 180 days offshore.

Location: Cairnrobin, Aberdeen

Responsible to: Offshore Operations Manager

Role responsibilities

  • Mobilize to offshore installations to carry out quarterly and annual heli fuel system inspections, repairs, maintenance, survey, helideck friction testing, auditing, crew training, system commissioning, and certification.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure compliance during inspections.
  • Be autonomous and prepared with PPE, tools, consumables, reports, and information prior to mobilization.
  • Arrive at check-in points on time with all required identification.
  • Complete necessary training and permits, adhering to client and installation rules.
  • Prepare and submit offshore reports and certifications promptly.
  • Ensure all timesheets and client documentation are signed before departure.
  • Submit signed timesheets and expenses timely.
  • Maintain professionalism on offshore and onshore premises.
  • Attend training and assessments as required.
  • Promote the company\’s reputation and seek opportunities for growth.
  • Follow local laws during travel and driving on company business.

QHSE responsibilities

Understand and comply with OEG\’s QHSE policies, promoting safety, environmental sustainability, and quality culture.
