ViVA Tech Talent is hiring on behalf of a high-growth FinTech company. They’re looking for a Principal Performance Engineer to define and deliver performance testing environments, tooling, and strategy across a hybrid infrastructure. This is a chance to shape something foundational from the ground up.

- Lead the design and implementation of performance testing strategy across systems and teams.
- Architect realistic test environments for load, stress, and soak testing.
- Work with Engineering and DevOps to build performance into the development lifecycle.

- Tune infrastructure and applications to support high availability and scalability.

What You Bring
- 8–10 years of performance engineering experience within large-scale tech environments.
- 5+ years in a senior or lead-level role.
- Deep knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, BlazeMeter, K6, Kibana).
- Strong experience testing APIs, UIs, services, and enterprise databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Ability to design replica environments that mimic production performance.
- Familiarity with IaC and modern DevOps practices.
- Skilled at identifying bottlenecks across application and infrastructure layers.
- A pragmatic, strategic mindset with a focus on systems that scale.
