Job Description
As the Recoveries Manager you'll lead the credit hire recoveries function. This is a hands-on, operational role where your leadership, communication skills, and focus on performance will make a tangible impact across the business. The role is full-time and ideally office-based, though there is some flexibility for remote working. Salary up to £45,000 PA The Role: As Recoveries Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the credit hire recoveries team, overseeing financial performance, operational delivery, and client and insurer relationships. You’ll manage both in-house and remote colleagues, ensuring that recoveries are processed quickly, accurately, and with the highest standards of service. You’ll also support strategic improvements to claims processes and play a key role in how the wider function evolves. This is a practical, leadership-focused role with a strong people management element. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead and develop a team responsible for the recovery of credit hire invoices
- Provide day-to-day supervision and longer-term development support
- Carry out appraisals, training and coaching to improve team output and quality
- Support more complex matters with tailored advice and guidance
Continuous Improvement & Change
- Identify ways to improve recovery timelines, processes and systems
- Support wider claims change initiatives and operational transformation
- Help embed new tools and training to support long-term improvement
