An interesting opportunity for a Lead Analyst to join our Adult Social Care Performance Team, part of our wider Performance and Systems Team who are responsible for performance data reporting and the submission of statutory returns.
The Adult Social Care Performance Team is responsible for showing the effectiveness of our services used by residents with a social care need.
The Lead Analyst role is a new position that was created to deliver high quality support to colleagues and to respond promptly to any ad hoc data requests.

Main Responsibility
- Support the delivery of improved service performance and outcomes for Adult Social Services, across the city council and for the citizens and residents of Milton Keynes via scrutiny of data reported.
- Produce reports that will be used to analyse, scrutinised by the Senior Leadership team, and published with service level outcomes.
- Support the team in the production of accessible, well presented monitoring information reports that will enable identification of significant trends and variations from agreed targets and relevant benchmarks.
- Ensure all statutory return deadlines are met and that the programme of new reporting developments can continue at pace.
- High and regular responsibility for adapting, designing, and developing systems for service insight .
The Ideal Candidate
- A degree qualification in data-related discipline, such as data science, data analysis, statistics, or any related disciplines.
- Considerable experience of working within Adult Social Services analysis team in local government, and collaborating with partners, the community, and members as well as other directorates or with similar transferable experience.
- Considerable experience of co-ordinating and delivering Adult’s Social Care Statutory Returns, including knowledge of health data.
- Proficient in SQL coding and PowerBI, SSRS or other reporting/visualisation tools.
- Demonstrable experience of working, influencing, persuading, and encouraging participation by diverse stakeholders and partners.
